The Mean Green's NCAA Tournament Game Is Underway!

12:30 p.m.
Oklahoma City, Okla. (3/18/10) - Following a police escort, the North Texas men's basketball team has just arrived at the Ford Center. The Mean Green headed to the locker room where the team will await the end of the BYU/Florida game.
The North Texas/Kansas State game is scheduled for 1:50 p.m. The Mean Green faithful are already in their seats, decked out in green. The stands are filling up, and the excitement is building.
1:00 p.m.
The Mean Green pep band has just arrived on the court and is starting to set up. We are just waiting the end of the first game, which is close.
1:25 p.m.
The BYU/Florida game is headed to overtime so the North Texas game is going to start a little late!
2:15 p.m.
We are just minutes away from game time! Hopefully, the North Texas game will be just as exciting as the first game. The Mean Green should be encouraged by Robert Morris' game with Villanova. The 15-seed Robert Morris took No. 2 seed Villanova to overtime. The pep band is already heckling the Kansas State fans. The Kansas State team received a huge reponse from the crowd when they first came out, but the response from the Mean Green fans was just as loud when the North Texas team ran out.
2:30 p.m.
The game is underway! Attired in black uniforms, the North Texas men's basketball team is facing Kansas State in white.The Mean Green fans are really loud! The cheerleaders and band are really getting the crowd excited. George Odufuwa is really showing his toughness.
3:20 p.m.
The Mean Green is down, 41-25, at the half. North Texas is hanging with the Wildcats. The Mean Green is going strong to the basket. Those K-State guards are fast. Everyone said they were fast, but seeing it in person is another level of fast. The Wildcats are also hitting every single one of their shots or that is what it feels like.
4:45 p.m.
The Mean Green's season has come to an end in an 82-62 loss to Kansas State. Tristan Thompson scored a career-high 28 points.
