DENTON, Texas (3/3/10) - The calendar has turned to March and with that comes perhaps the greatest couple of weeks in collegiate sports: March Madness. MeanGreenSports.com will become the hoops headquarters for all and everything you need to know about the men's and women's basketball teams this upcoming week in Hot Springs.
Each and every day we will be giving you the fan an all-access look at some of the behind the scenes moments at the Sun Belt Tournament with our newest flip camera as well as live game chats for both the men and women.
For the diehard fans, we will even be having a live game chat from the Louisiana-Lafayette/ULM contest on Saturday night at 9 p.m. as the Mean Green await their opponent in the quarterfinals. We will be taking questions from fans, give our own scouting report and even talk to some of the North Texas assistant coaches and get their take on the game.
As far as TV coverage is concerned, we have learned that both the men's and women's semi-finals games would be televised on Charter 25 in the Denton area. Of course the men's championship game will be televised on Tuesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. on ESPN2. The women's championship game meanwhile can be seen on ESPNU at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9.
For fans making the trip to Hot Springs, we will be giving you the latest schedule updates for all and anything Mean Green related, including Send-Offs and pre and post-game gatherings.
Coverage will begin Friday afternoon so be sure and check back often for continuous updates throughout the Sun Belt tournaments.
