DENTON (09/12/2012) - Head Coach Dan McCarney and the Mean Green football team are headed to Manhattan, Kansas. On Saturday, September 15th at 6:00 p.m. on FSN, you can watch the Mean Green at Kansas State on national tv. Gather together your Mean Green gear and head out to Denton's official watch party at Hooters.
North Texas raffle items will be distributed throughout the game. Hooters will also have a halftime wing eating contest for a few lucky North Texas Fans wearing green shirts.
The Wildcats are ranked 14th in the nation in the USA Today Coaches poll and 15th in the Associated Press poll. Kansas State is off to a 2-0 start after a 52-13 win over Miami and a season opening win of 51-9 over Missouri State.
