Stadium Reception Set For Thursday

DENTON, Texas - The University of North Texas Athletics department will officially announce its pricing structure for the Club Seating level of the new Football Stadium at a VIP reception being held Thursday, Sept. 30th on the Touchdown Terrace of the Mean Green Athletics center.
Premium seating options, including luxury suites and club level seats, in the new stadium are now available and exclusive seating options in the state-of- the-art $78 million project are expected to sell quickly. The amenities within the club and suite levels are expected to match or exceed the level of service at any collegiate sports facility throughout the nation.
"We have quietly been soliciting people for suites and club seats over the past six months and the response has been very good," Director of Athletics Rick Villarreal said. "Now that the structure is coming together, potential buyers can actually see what their investment will get them and we hope that moving forward with this public sales campaign will fill out all of our luxury seating options."
With amenities that have been previously unavailable at Fouts Field, the new Football Stadium will include approximately 800 Club Seats, 22 luxury Suites and a five-story Press Box structure. The Club Level seats will offer both outdoor seating and indoor amenities. The five-row seating section is adjacent to a 12,000 sq. ft. glass enclosed Club Lounge with private entrance, elevators, concessions and restrooms. From inside the Club Lounge, patrons will be able to catch all the action on the field with unobstructed sightlines and high-top tables with bar stools.
"Our fans have waited decades to have the type of facility, and amenities, this new stadium will provide," Villarreal said. "Club seating will offer our fans one of the best game-day atmospheres in all of college football."
The office of Athletic Development is coordinating the VIP reception and has organized the pricing structure of the Club Level. There are three seating options with different donation levels located within the club area. The idea was to keep budget-minded fans in mind and make exclusive amenities available to a wide variety of supporters at different giving levels.
"We have been very pleased with the response to our campaign for sales of Luxury Suites and we have only six of the 22 left to sell," Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Development Cooper Jones said. "When all you have to show is renderings and a concept you never know how sales are going to go. We have been happy that we increased Club Level sales by 300 percent since February, but with construction coming to fruition and the beginning of this public campaign, we think it will really take off."
