SAAC Kicks Off School Year With Float Night

DENTON, Texas (10/13/11) - The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is holding its first event of the school year with a North Texas Student-Athlete Float Night on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
The members of S.A.A.C. are inviting all Mean Green student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff to a celebration of Homecoming Week and the start of another school year with everyone's favorite drink/dessert: coke floats. Float Night will be held on the back patio behind the Athletic Center.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) consists of representatives from each intercollegiate athletic team at North Texas. The committee members are selected by their teammates and meet regularly to discuss issues that affect student-athletes. The Committee also serves as a liaison between athletics administrators and student-athletes.
