Nearly 300 Enjoy Johnny Jones Youth Clinic

DENTON, Texas - Nearly 300 kids of all ages joined the Mean Green basketball team for top flight instruction at the annual Johnny Jones Free Youth Clinic on Saturday.
The players and coaches ran through a variety of drills with the kids, and gave the participants an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques that NT uses each day.
On top of the drills, each participant received a free t-shirt, a backpack, as well as a ticket to a future Mean Green basketball game. The Mean Green practiced after the clinic, which gave all of the participants the ability to see North Texas use the skills they learned in action.
North Texas returns to the court on Sunday against Jackson State at 7 p.m., and will also face Grambling State on Tuesday and LSU on Thursday. All of those games will take place at the Super Pit.
