Volleyball Progress Continues At UT Arlington

DENTON, Texas - The spring volleyball season is measured in progress, and that's what the Mean Green saw in a superb series of two-set matches at the UT Arlington Spring Tournament last Saturday.
NT picked up set wins over Baylor and UT Arlington, and took both sets from TCU. Oklahoma, an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 competitor last year, took two close sets from the Mean Green.
"I have no complaints after a great weekend of competition," said North Texas head coach Ken Murczek. "We continue to improve, and if we compare this to last year, we have made significant strides. Obviously, it was very exciting to watch."
North Texas is slated to host TWU on Thursday evening in the Mean Green Nation's only chance to catch NT at home until August. The match will take place at 7 p.m. at the Mean Green Volleyball Center.
