No. 45- Cobb Scores 45
Fred Cobb lit up the Dallas University Crusaders in the second game of 1919 season, as North Texas won a 87-6 contest.
Cobb had scored the game-icing touchdown in a 14-6 defeat of TCU the week prior, and scored almost at will during this contest. Cobb repeatedly made long gains around the end and through the line, as North Texas rolled.
Cobb's 45 points (six touchdowns, nine points via kicks and conversions) remain the most scored in a single game by a North Texas player to this day.
