We haven't even had our first year after the post-Robertson era for the Mean Green defense and on paper Craig Robertson is already atop the eligible members of the Mean Green Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

Robertson goes down in the North Texas record books as the third leading tackler in program history behind the likes of Byron Gross and Burks Washington. He finished just nine short of Washington's school record of 390 with 381.

He recorded a career-high 16 tackles against Big 12 foe Kansas State to end his career with the Mean Green.

Craig led the North Texas defense for his final two seasons, collecting 107 tackles in 2009 and 133 tackles in 2010. The 133 mark was good enough to land him third in school history in the tackles in a season category.

The Stafford, Texas native recorded nine interceptions in his career including a stunning five picks as a freshman from his linebacker spot.

Robertson even finished his four years at North Texas with a 64 yards per rush average, granted that was because he ran ONE fake punt against FIU in 2010.

He ranks fifth all-time in tackles for loss with 23.

Craig was a great linebacker in a down era for the Mean Green, but you can bet that when things start to look up, Robertson and others from the last few years will have had a hand in getting North Texas back to winning.
