Dunbar The Leading Rusher At All-Star Game

TUCSON, Ariz. - Former North Texas running back Lance Dunbar and defensive end Brandon Akpunku played in the Casino Del Sol All-Star game last night at Kino Stadium in Tucson, Arizona.
Dunbar was the leading rusher in the game with 10 carries for 59 yards as his team the Stripes scored a touchdown the final seconds for a 24-21 victory over the Stars team.
The first collegiate All-Star Game of the season, the Casino Del Sol All-Star Game featured more than 90 of the nation's best college football players. Former Ole Miss Head Coach Houston Nutt and former Fresno State Head Coach Pat Hill coached the two squads.
The game was put on in conjunction with the Tucson Padres, who played host to the game in Tucson.
