A versatile athlete in high school, Harris rushed for over 1,700 yards at Frisco High School....Harris was named the Dallas Morning News Player of the Week for September 12 after rushing for 446 yards and seven touchdowns in a game....Harris finished the season with 1,722 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns....He also had two receiving touchdowns and finished the year with a total of 24 TDs....As a junior Harris rushed for 713 yards and eight touchdowns, had 10 receptions for 82 yards, and threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns.....In 2009 Harris was the District 9-4A Sophomore of the Year.
