Watson was an all-state selection in 2011, finishing the season with 48 tackles and team-highs of 18 tackles-for-loss and 6 sacks. He was a two-time first-team All-District 3-5A selection in 2010 and 2011....He was an honorable mention All State selection in 2011...Watson also throws the discus for his track team, and won District 3-5A in the discus throw as a junior.
