McCoy Named To New Mexico All-Tournament Team

DENTON, Texas - Junior guard Laura McCoy was placed on the New Mexico All-Tournament team following an impressive turkey break showing against New Mexico and St. Bonaventure last weekend.
McCoy knocked down five 3-pointers and scored a total 21 points on the tournament. She also started both games and ran the point for North Texas throughout the second half and overtime periods against St. Bonaventure.
The veteran guard played a team-high 72 minutes for the Mean Green and also netted five rebounds.
North Texas women's hoops returns to action tomorrow at 5 p.m. against Arizona at the Super Pit.
