Middle-School Students Tour Apogee Stadium

DENTON, Texas (11/29/12) - Five local middle schools visited and toured Apogee Stadium on Wednesday morning.
More than 400 students from Dan F. Long Middle School, Blalack Middle School, Ted Polk Middle School, Perry Middle School and Lakeside Middle School experienced a college-day atmosphere when they visited Apogee Stadium and the University of North Texas campus.
Students received a tour of Apogee Stadium, where the highlight was getting to climb up to the top of the Wing. Athletic director Rick Villarreal spoke to the kids about the importance of education from the Club Level of Apogee, and many had an opportunity to run on the football field.
