February 23, 2012 - The 2011-12 season of Mean Green Insider wraps up with preparations for Sun Belt championship action. Both basketball teams are winding down the regular season, and head coaches Karen Aston and Johnny Jones provide updates on their teams heading into Hot Springs for the basketball tournament. Carl Sheffield has returned to North Texas, this time as the Director of Track and Field, and has his squad ready for the Sun Belt Indoor Track championships this weekend at Middle Tennessee.
New episodes of Mean Green Insider will be available here on MeanGreenSports.com each Thursday.
In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, TXA 21 will air the Mean Green Insider every Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m.
Time Warner cable systems will carry MGI statewide on The Texas Channel at 5:00 p.m. each Thursday. The Texas Channel can be found on channel 185 on Time Warner Cable in the DFW Metroplex.
Mean Green Insider is also available nationwide on Fox College Sports Central at 6:00 p.m. every Thursday and 4:00 p.m. each Friday.
