Redesigned MeanGreenSports.com To Debut Thursday

This Thursday, the North Texas Athletic Department will launch a new, custom-designed MeanGreenSports.com, and it's much more than just a facelift - it's a completely new direction for the athletic-department's website.
The new MeanGreenSports.com, designed by CBS Interactive in consultation with the North Texas Athletics Communications Department, is a sharp departure from previous incarnations of the site. The new MeanGreenSports.com is heavy on big, bold images, with a layout that allows viewers to scroll through several new features, most notably:
- A completely-redesigned primary display area, with site-wide photos and headlines, extended calendar and shopping areas, and easily-accessed C-USA Digital content.
- A big new home for Mean Green All-Access videos, featuring a 658x370-pixel video player.
- Greatly increased visibility for the many microsites the athletic department has created over the past two years.
- A large space for Mean Green social media.
Additionally, sport-specific pages will offer easily-accessed conference standings.
The site is expected to be up and fully operational by the end of the day on Thursday.
