Scott was a District 6-3A first-team selection in 2012....He had 86 tackles his senior season to go along with nine tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles....Scott was an academic All-State selection in 2012....In 2011, Scott was an honorable mention all-district selection while playing linebacker but also saw time at running back, where he ran for 577 yards and eight touchdowns....On defense he racked up 85 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, two sacks and two interceptions.
