Beyond The Green Nominated For Most Outstanding Program Series

DENTON, Texas - Beyond The Green, the story of the 2013 North Texas football team, has been nominated by the Sports Video Group (SVG) and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) for Most Outstanding Program Series and Most Outstanding Special Feature.
The show was produced by North Texas graduate Ashton Campbell, who took fans behind the scenes with unprecedented looks at the 2013 football season. The special feature on Brandon McCoy, "From war vet to defensive end" was nominated in the special feature category.
The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced at the College Sports Media Awards ceremony on May 29 at the SVG College Sports Summit in Atlanta. The event will be hosted by ESPN's Rece Davis.
