IRVING - North Texas head football coach Dan McCarney and student-athletes Derek Akunne and Cyril Lemon fielded question after question Wednesday at the 2014 Conference USA Media Day - one of the perks of the Mean Green's bowl-winning 2013 season.
The Mean Green, voted in a preseason poll as the favorite in C-USA's West Division this year, were busy throughout the morning and into the afternoon with questions from familiar media members as well as a number of new reporters from print, radio, and television.
