North Texas Completes Construction Of Sand Volleyball Courts

DENTON - North Texas has completed construction of a pair of sand volleyball courts, located in the Mean Green Village.
The courts, already getting broken in by members of the North Texas women's volleyball team, are near the Volleyball Center in an open area next to the indoor basketball practice facility. The playing surface is a bright white sand that is the consistency of fine sugar.
The courts are viewed as an important recruiting tool for the women's volleyball program.
