High-Flying T-Mitch Once Again Wowing NBA Summer League

As several media outlets have astutely reported from the NBA Summer League in Orlando, Fla., Tony Mitchell is doing what Tony Mitchell does.
The high-flying Detroit Pistons power forward and former North Texas All-American has built a reputation on athleticism. Mitchell is known for crashing the boards, throwing down windmill dunks and redirecting weak layups into the third row of the stands, and that's exactly what he's done so far in his second summer league season.
The Pistons are 3-0 with Mitchell starting at center (not his natural position, mind you), and Mitchell has the highest shooting percentage of any summer league player with at least 10 shots - 83.3 percent (10-of-12). Overall, he's pouring in 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and a team-high 1.3 blocks per game. Mitchell's plus/minus over the three games is a solid +12.
TV announcers are now beginning to salivate when Mitchell gets the ball near the bucket, because they know what's coming next - a highlight reel dunk. Check out the footage from NBA.com where Mitchell wows the crowd with a pair of monster dunks.
