DENTON - Renovations are underway that will further enhance the educational experience at the North Texas Student-Athlete Academic Center.
Opened in 2005 thanks in large part to the generous donations of Gayle and Virgil Strange, the 7,000-square foot Academic Center will feature a restructured layout that will nearly double the tutoring stations and office space.
The facility's electrical, insulation and HVAC duct work systems are being overhauled. The lobby will be also remodeled, and the entire facility will receive new flooring and a fresh coat of paint.
The project is slated to be completed in September.
