Miles Named To C-USA All-Academic Football Team

DENTON - North Texas redshirt freshman offensive tackle Chris Miles was named to the 2015 C-USA All-Academic Team today. Miles started 11 games this season as a redshirt freshman at tackle and been a key part of the Mean Green rushing attack that averaged nearly 160 yards a game on the ground.
Miles was a member of the C-USA Honor Roll in 2014 and earned a C-USA Academic Medal in 2014. He is a member of the 2014 North Texas President's List and the spring 2015 Dean's List.
Miles is one of only two freshman to make the team. He is a Mechanical & Energy Engineering major with a GPA of 3.785.
The team is comprised of two redshirt freshmen, one sophomore, six juniors, one senior and two graduate students. The all-academic team consists of student-athletes who have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve for their team. The squad is selected by the league's football media relations directors for football.
