DENTON - Tuesday saw the Mean Green football team put on the pads for the first time in spring practices, and violence was the word of the day.
Seth Littrell's staff has created a regimen of drills, several involving new equipment, that develop explosive, aggressive, violent attacks by both defenders and offensive linemen, and those techniques were in evidence Tuesday.
