DENTON - North Texas completed its second week of spring practice on Saturday with its first scrimmage under coach Seth Littrell.
Among the highlights were three interceptions by redshirt sophomore linebacker Brandon Garner and one by senior linebacker Fred Scott. The offense, however, had big plays as well, including a pair of touchdowns by running back Willy Ivery.
Spring practices continue through the next three weeks, leading up to the Green-White scrimmage at Apogee Stadium on April 23. Attendance to the spring game is free, and the game will be open to the public.
