DENTON -- North Texas Athletics announced Friday the single-game promotions for 2017's six home dates. The promotions include giveaways, special recognitions and ticket campaigns that will improve the overall gameday experience.

Sept. 2 vs. Lamar
- Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
- UNT faculty and staff appreciation game with discounted tickets and special recognition.
- Denton Record-Chronicle Best of Denton with recognition of 367 local businesses and a pregame tailgate.
- Mean Green soccer team recognition.
- Rally towel and pom-pom giveaways co-sponsored by Student Government Association.
Sept. 23 vs. UAB
- Family Weekend and Hall of Fame weekend.
- Coach to Cure MD game for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy awareness.
- Champions Weekend - Celebration of 1947, 1967 and 2013 teams.
- Replica North Texas battle flag giveaway to first 10,000 people to honor unveiling of new 90-foot battle flag outside of Apogee Stadium.
- On-field recognitions of 2014 Heart of Dallas Bowl team; Abner Haynes recognition; family tuition draw; National Merit Scholar recognition.
- Town of Argyle night.
- Game sponsored by Wells Fargo -- bag giveaway.
Oct. 14 vs. UT San Antonio
- Breast cancer awareness game in conjunction with Zeta Sorority -- pink ribbon giveaways and t-shirt sales with proceeds benefitting American Cancer Society.
- Hayden Fry reunion tailgate and recognition. The 1977 North Texas team will be recognized.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes Fields of Faith event.
Oct. 28 vs. Old Dominion
- Halloween Blackout game. Fans encouraged to wear black. Black t-shirts for sale and black pom-poms will be distributed.
- Fall festival carnival in the wing zone hosted by Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Kids in costume will receive a free game ticket.
- Domestic violence awareness game.
- North Texas volleyball team will be honored on field.
- Basketball giveaways including schedule posters, schedule cards and refrigerator magnets.
Nov. 11 vs. UTEP
- Homecoming.
- Darrel Dickey reunion tailgate and recognition. Dickey will welcome back players from his teams from 1998-2006 and be honored for his 2017 Hall of Fame induction.
- Basketball schedule posters, schedule cards and refrigerator magnets will be distributed.
Nov. 18 vs. Army
- Military appreciation game with special recognition military displays in and around stadium.
- Special ticket discount for active or retired military and first responders.
- Senior Day recognitions.
- North Texas preview game.
- Basketball schedule posters, schedule cards and refrigerator magnets will be distributed.
