DENTON -- North Texas men's basketball head coach Grant McCasland announced the non-conference schedule for the 2017-18 season Tuesday, including four road contests against notable opponents Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, and Georgetown.
"We are excited about our non-conference schedule and the challenges it presents our team," McCasland said. "This schedule will prepare us for Conference USA play and we can't wait for the season opener on Nov. 10 at the Super Pit."
The Mean Green will play 13 non-conference games, thanks in part to their inclusion in the Ramblin' Wreck Showcase hosted by the Yellow Jackets, which gives them an extra contest. In total, North Texas will play seven home non-conference games and six away games.
Season tickets for Mean Green basketball are available at just $75 per person for general admission. To purchase tickets, visit the North Texas Ticket Office website.
