AKERS SAYS:Â "We are excited to get back into competition after a month off. The original schedule didn't have this break but an opportunity presented itself to us and we took advantage. The ladies have been working hard and are ready to go. TPC San Antonio is a nice golf course and we have been doing our best to simulate conditions and yardages in practice. The weather forecast looks like we will face adverse conditions so we have been communicating so they can be mentally prepared as well as have the proper gear."

UP NEXT:Â North Texas will travel to the Betsy Rawls Invitational Oct. 19-21 at the UT Golf Club in Austin.
