Bradley Named C-USA Player Of The Week

IRVING – Terriell Bradley of North Texas has been selected as the Conference USA Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.
Bradley dominated for the Mean Green as the redshirt senior guard produced 30 and 36-point outings last week to up her streak of scoring 30 or more to three consecutive games, a feat she shares alongside top-ranked Notre Dame's Arike Ogunbowale as the only two players to do so this season.
Coming off of a career-high 40 points versus North Dakota State Nov. 24, Bradley scored 30 at SMU Nov. 28 to account for nearly half of UNT's points and pulled down a season-high eight rebounds.
In addition to her 33.0 points per game average last week, Bradley added 13 rebounds, five steals, three assists, and a block.
In the overtime win over Missouri State Dec. 1, Bradley went for 36 points by connecting of 12 of her 21 attempts, including a trio of 3-pointers, and sank nine from the free throw line. The 36 points is the ninth-highest output in Division I this season, ranking three spots behind the 40 she scored versus NDSU.
With her 66 points scored in the two contests, Bradley now has 1,133 for her career and jumped from ninth to seventh all-time at UNT. She leads C-USA in scoring this season with an average of 22.4 points to place her 12thin the nation.
This is Bradley's third C-USA Player of the Week award and the first this season.
The Mean Green are back in action Dec. 5 to host Houston Baptist at 11:30 a.m.
