Preston III Tabbed to C-USA All-Academic Team

DALLAS – Mean Green senior offensive lineman Thomas Preston III was one of 11 Conference USA student-athletes named to the 2019 C-USA Football All-Academic Team, the league announced Thursday. Players hailing from 10 programs were recognized for their excellence on and off the field this season.
Preston made his first career start at left guard for the Mean Green in the 2019 season opener. The juco transfer earned a 3.916 GPA in integrative studies and was recognized as one of Pro Football Focus' 50-best interior linemen in 2019.
