Bradley, George Earn C-USA Honors

DALLAS – Terriell Bradley of North Texas was named to the Conference USA First Team for a second time, and Anisha George was voted to the All-Defensive Team as announced by the league office Monday.
Bradley, also a first team selection last season, is the fourth-leading scorer in C-USA at 16.7 points per game. The redshirt senior guard ranks top 10 in the league in: 3-point percentage (7th, 38.5), 3-pointers made per game (7th, 1.8), and free throw percentage (8th, 77.6). Bradley also averages 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 steals.
A Preseason All C-USA selection this season, Bradley was honored as the Conference USA Player of the Week Dec. 3. The New Orleans native has recorded season-highs of 40 points, eight 3-pointers, nine free throws, eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Bradley led UNT in scoring on 16 occasions in 2018-19 while recording a career-high 40 points against North Dakota State Nov. 28. Bradley followed up that performance with 30 points at SMU and 36 versus Missouri State, respectively.
Bradley is the only Mean Green to ever receive C-USA First Team honors.
George made an immediate impact inside during her first season with the Mean Green. The post from St. Croix, Virgin Islands, is ranked within top 10 in Conference USA in several categories: offensive rebounds per game (2nd, 3.5), field goal percentage (3rd, .612), double-doubles (5th, six), rebounds (6th, 7.6), and blocked shots (7th, 0.9). In 2018-19, George is averaging 11.1 points.
The junior grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds versus Charlotte Feb. 2 while producing seven games with 10 or more rebounds and has recorded three blocks in three games this season. George posted a career-high 25 points at Southern Miss Jan. 5 leading to Player of the Week honors.
George is the second player from North Texas to be named to the All-Defensive team to join Kelsey Criner from the 2015-16 season.
