Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

DENTON – The North Texas volleyball team will take on three in-state opponents and Oklahoma in its 2019 spring schedule, head coach Andrew Palileo announced Tuesday.
The spring slate will begin in Austin against Elite-8 finisher Texas on March 26 at 8 p.m.
"I'm excited about our spring schedule," Palileo said. "I think it will challenge us in different ways. It will be great preparation for the 2019 season."
After the trip to Austin, the Mean Green will face Oklahoma on April 13 at 4:30 p.m. After travelling to Dallas to face SMU on April 17 at 6 p.m., the schedule wraps up on April 18 in Denton when the Mean Green face UTA at 4 p.m.
North Texas is looking to build on a second-straight trip to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship. Last season the Mean Green reached the quarterfinals against Iowa State.
