#NFLMeanGreen: Minicamps On the Horizon

As the weekend approaches, so too does the realization of several former Mean Green players' opportunities to play in the NFL.
Beginning Friday, three North Texas players who either signed as free agents or earned rookie minicamp invitations embark on their professional journeys, while five more prepare to do the same next week.
NFL teams begin holding rookie minicamps on Friday, May 3. Teams are allowed to hold two practices during this minicamp period.
Free Agents
LB E.J. Ejiya – Baltimore Ravens – May 3-5
CB Nate Brooks – Arizona Cardinals (originally agreed to terms with the Green Bay Packers) – May 10-12
CB Kemon Hall – Los Angeles Chargers – May 10-12
WR Jalen Guyton – Dallas Cowboys – May 10-12
DL Roderick Young – Jacksonville Jaguars – May 10-12
Minicamp Invitees
K Cole Hedlund – Indianapolis Colts – May 3-5
OL Jordan Murray – Seattle Seahawks – May 3-5
OL Riley Mayfield – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – May 10-12
This group of eight will soon know if they'll leave minicamp as members of their team's 90-man offseason roster, providing an opportunity to go to an NFL training camp this summer for a shot of earning a spot on a 53-man roster, or practice squad.
