Mean Green Staff Reaches 100% MGSF Participation

DENTON – For the second consecutive year, 100% of the North Texas Athletics coaches and staff contributed to the Mean Green Scholarship Fund, the department announced Monday.
UNT's 109 full-time staff members raised more than $34,000 in support of scholarships for Mean Green student-athletes, an 25% increase over last year's staff total.
"I am so proud and humbled by the work everyone in our department is doing," Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker said. "For each and every member of our athletic staff to go above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities and help fund scholarships shows another level of commitment and dedication towards our student-athletes."
The Mean Green Scholarship Fund provides annual scholarship and program support for all UNT student-athletes and each of North Texas' 16 intercollegiate athletic teams.
The deadline for the 2019-20 membership campaign is June 30, 2019. To be eligible for all 2019-20 MGSF member benefits, including season parking passes for football and men's basketball and priority-seating requirements for the 2019 football and 2019-20 basketball seasons, all gifts must be fulfilled by June 30.
