Travel Package For Cal Game On Sale

DENTON - UNT is making it easy for fans to attend the North Texas football game against Cal on Sept. 14 in Berkeley, California, with the Mean Green Weekend Fly-Away travel package, which the athletic department unveiled Wednesday.
The game will be the UNT football team's first trip to California since 1981 and its inaugural meeting with the Golden Bears.
The travel package goes on sale July 9 and includes:
- Round-trip airfare from DFW Airport to Oakland, Cal.
- Two nights hotel accommodations
- UNT vs. Cal game tickets
- Motorcoach transfers to and from Oakland airport
- Motorcoach transfers to and from the hotel and California Memorial Stadium
- Pep rally Friday evening at the hotel
Package pricing starts at $1,113 per person. An additional fee of $199 will be charged for single occupancy. Fans can register for the Mean Green Weekend Fly-Away online. The deadline for registration is August 9.
Fans who want to make their own travel arrangements to the Cal game can purchase tickets to the game online or by phone through the North Texas Ticket Office. Mean Green football season-ticket holders and members of the Mean Green Scholarship Fund can purchase tickets starting July 15 by logging into their online Mean Green Athletics' ticket account. All other fans will be able to purchase tickets beginning July 22 online through the North Texas Athletics Ticket Office webpage or by contacting the ticket office at 940‑565‑2527.
