#NFLMeanGreen - Week Three Recap

DENTON – With week three of the National Football League's 2020 season complete, MeanGreenSports.com presents fans with the fourth installment of the 2020 rendition of #NFLMeanGreen. All three former North Texas players currently on active rosters saw action again during week three, Jeffery Wilson, Jalen Guyton and Craig Robertson.

While Wilson struggled to gain yards on the ground in the San Francisco 49ers (2-1) 36-9 victory over the New York Giants (0-3), rushing 12 times for just 15 yards, the former North Texas standout was able to push one run into the end zone for his fifth career rushing touchdown. Wilson also hauled in three receptions for 54 yards and another score. He now has over 100 career carries (107) and surpassed 500 career total yards (575, 389 rushing and 186 receiving). The 49ers are set to host the Philadelphia Eagles (0-2-1) on week four's edition of Sunday Night Football, kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. on NBC.

Guyton earned the second start of his career in the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) 21-16 loss at the hands of the Carolina Panthers (1-2), hauling in two passes for 23 yards bringing his career total to four catches for 53 yards. The Chargers will be on the road to take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) in week four, kickoff is set for noon on ABC.

Robertson again appeared on special teams as the New Orleans Saints (1-2) suffered their second consecutive loss at the hands of the Green Bay Packers (3-0) by a final score of 37-30. New Orleans will be on the road to take on the Detroit Lions (1-2) this Sunday with kickoff set for noon on FOX.
