#NFLMeanGreen - Week Four Recap

DENTON - With week four of the National Football League's 2020 season complete, MeanGreenSports.com presents fans with the fourth installment of the 2020 rendition of #NFLMeanGreen. All three former North Texas players currently on active rosters saw action again during week three, Jeffery Wilson, Jalen Guyton and Craig Robertson.

Guyton's Los Angeles Chargers (1-3) suffered their third consecutive loss, falling 38-31 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) in week four. The Allen native set a career milestone by surpassing 100 career receiving yards after hauling in a career-long 72-yard pass for his second touchdown of the season. Guyton now has 125 career receiving yards and a pair of scores on just five career receptions. The Chargers will hit the road for a Monday Night matchup with the New Orleans Saints (2-2). This will be the first time this season that two former Mean Green players face off in the NFL as Guyton will square off with Robertson, kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. on ESPN.

Speaking of Robertson, his Saints picked up a much needed win with a 35-29 victory over the Detroit Lions (1-3) on Sunday. New Orleans took the lead with 3:03 to go in the first half after trailing 14-0 early and never looked back. Robertson saw action on defense and special teams for the fourth straight game.

The San Francisco 49ers (2-2) suffered their second loss of the season, falling 25-20 to the Philadelphia Eagles (1-2-1). Wilson rushed just three times for only six yards and hauled in one catch for 13 yards. The 49ers host the Miami Dolphins (1-3) on Sunday afternoon, kickoff is set for 3:05 p.m. on FOX.
