Mean Green Face Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — North Texas will look for revenge Saturday afternoon as they take on Arkansas at the Bud Walton Arena. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 5 p.m. CT. It will be streamed on the SEC Network+ and on Learfield IMG College Razorback Sports Network. The Razorbacks beat UNT last season 66-43.

This will be the 16th meeting between North Texas and Arkansas. UNT has never beaten the Razorbacks.
Last season, Arkansas pulled away over the final 10 minutes to defeat North Texas 66-43.
Both teams opened the season with a win over Mississippi Valley State.
North Texas's 21 made 3-pointers on Thursday versus MVSU was the most in the nation among the season opener. Arkansas was right behind as they made 20 3-pointers veruss the Delta Devils.
North Texas' newcomer Mardrez McBride scored a game-high 21 points in his DI collegiate debut. Second-year UNT guard James Reese also scored 21 points, which was a career-best for the senior.
UNT point guard Javion Hamlet had a double-double on Thursday with 13 points and 11 assists.
