Boyd Named C-USA Player Of The Week

DALLAS – N'Yah Boyd of North Texas earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors for her performance against Oklahoma State Dec. 22.
The sophomore guard scored a season-high 20 points against the Cowgirls. She also stuffed the stat sheet with a team-high five assists, four rebounds, a pair of steals and was nearly perfect from the free throw line, going 6-for-7.
Within the league, Boyd ranks third in free throw percentage (84-percent), fourth in assists per game (4.8) and sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.71).
This is Boyd's first career honor.
