Hamilton Speaks With Media at Combine

INDIANAPOLIS - Former North Texas defensive end LaDarius Hamilton conducted his official media session at the podium Thursday from the Indiana Convention Center, as his NFL Scouting combine experience continued.
Hamilton answered questions about his journey from North Texas, his best pass-rushing moves and most effective techniques, as well as which teams he has met with since his arrival in Indianapolis on Tuesday. Hamilton also credited his time at the Shrine Bowl in January as a big part of preparing him for the combine.
"I feel like during the week I was preparing myself to put on a show so I could make it to this point," Hamilton said. "I believe that a majority of that and pretty much the whole thing I put on tape was why I'm here."
Hamilton also spoke about how playing in Conference USA helped prepare him for this opportunity.
"Each and every week, you've got to go out there and really dominate," Hamilton added. "Not being in one of the Power 5 conferences, it's easy to get overlooked with average numbers, so you've got to really do something to wow people to get this opportunity."
In addition to his media session, Hamilton has had his medical examinations, taken official measurements and met with representatives from several teams. Hamilton will undergo psychological testing later on Thursday before showcasing his strength Friday afternoon in the bench press.
