LaDarius Hamilton Earns NFL Combine Invite

DENTON - Former North Texas defensive end LaDarius Hamilton earned a coveted 2020 NFL Scouting Combine invite, becoming the first to do so since San Francisco 49ers running back Jeffery Wilson attended in 2018. The combine takes place in Indianapolis from Feb. 24-March 1 and coverage will be available on NFL Network.Â
Hamilton (Corrigan, Texas) finished his collegiate career in a tie for sixth in program history in career sacks (17.0) and was also sixth in career tackles for loss (28.5), and was a menace for opposing offensive lines throughout his four-year career in Denton. Hamilton finished with 121 total tackles (67 solo), 28.5 tackles for loss, 17.0 sacks, an interception, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and a pass break-up. Hamilton recorded multiple sacks in a game on seven occasions, including four this past season. The Corrigan native was a first-team All-Conference USA selection in 2018, and was also a member of the all-freshman team in 2016.
