Sophomore Charlene Shepherd made her way to Denton by way of Killeen as a somewhat unknown athletic forward at Shoemaker High School. In hopes of leaving Killeen, Shepherd dedicated herself to becoming the player and person she wanted to be during her prep career. In her two years at North Texas, she has provided the Mean Green with one of the toughest matchups in Conference USA.
