C-USA Releases Football Broadcast Schedule

DALLAS – Conference USA has announced its initial broadcast schedule for the 2020 football season, featuring nationally aired broadcasts by the league's primary partners. Every C-USA football game is expected to be available on traditional linear television or via streaming. All but one of North Texas' 11 scheduled games are listed below, as the matchup at Houston on Sept. 26, will be announced by the American Athletic Conference at a later time as part of their television partner agreements.
C-USA games will be available this fall via CBS Sports Network, Stadium, ESPN and ESPN Digital.
The 2020 C-USA Championship game, slated for Saturday, Dec. 5, will air on CBS Sports Network. Its kickoff time will be announced at a later date.

North Texas opens its 2020 season on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 6:30 p.m. CT from Apogee Stadium against Houston Baptist live on ESPN3. Following an open date, North Texas is set to host Metroplex rival SMU on Saturday, Sept. 19, from Apogee Stadium with a 5 p.m. CT kickoff and that game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. North Texas then heads to Houston to take on the Cougars in their final non-conference game of the season on Saturday, Sept. 26, and that game time and broadcast information will be released at a later time by the AAC.
UNT kicks off its conference schedule at home on Saturday, Oct. 3, when it hosts Southern Miss at 6:30 p.m. CT live on Stadium. The Mean Green remain home the following week to take on Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN3 or ESPN+ from Apogee Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 10. North Texas then travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Oct. 17, with a 4 p.m. CT kick live on Stadium.
Following its second bye week of the season, the Mean Green travel to El Paso for a Halloween date with UTEP in a contest that kicks off at 3 p.m. CT live on CBS Sports Network. North Texas returns home to host Louisiana Tech on Saturday, Nov. 7, with a 5 p.m. CT kickoff from Apogee Stadium in another game broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. UNT then hits the road to Birmingham to battle the Blazers of UAB on Saturday, Nov. 14, in a game that will be broadcast live on Stadium. The kickoff time for that game is not yet available.
The Mean Green host Rice in their final regular season home game of 2020 on Saturday, Nov. 21, with a 1 p.m. kickoff live on ESPN3 or ESPN+, and conclude the regular season with a trip to San Antonio to take on UTSA in the Alamodome at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 28, live on Stadium.
ESPN will be utilizing a 12-day window for network designation and times for those games are subject to change.
