Saturday Men's Basketball Opponent Replaced

DENTON — The North Texas men's basketball team will host LSU Shreveport Saturday at 1 p.m. CT at the Super Pit. The Mean Green were originally scheduled to host Nevada Saturday at 1 p.m. CT but due to COVID-19 impacts within the Wolf Pack's program that game will not be played as scheduled.
All tickets both physical and digital that were purchased for the original Saturday game against Nevada will still be valid.
The Mean Green are coming off of a 57-54 victory over Drake at the ESPN Events Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida on Sunday. Through six games this year North Texas has the league's top defense allowing just 58.7 points per game while also having one of the nation's top turnover margins (+4.8).
Saturday will be the Mean Green's first all-time meeting against LSU Shreveport.
The game will be broadcast on the Mean Green Sports Network on the Varsity App.
Fan who purchased single-game tickets to the original scheduled Nevada game can request a refund by emailing ticketoffice@unt.edu if they no longer wish to attend.
