Robinson named to AVCA All-Southwest Region Team

DENTON — Senior outside hitter Rhett Robinson was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's All-Southwest Region Team. It's the first such honor for Robinson in her four year career with the Mean Green.
Robinson capped off a stellar Mean Green career this past season, posting 459 total kills for a 5.28 kills per set average. Her kills per set mark was good for second best in the nation. Robinson also racked up 5.93 points per set, good for second nationally. She also accumulated 179 digs, good for a 2.06 digs per set average.
The Krum, TX native now has a chance to be named to the AVCA All-America Team, an honor only bestowed upon two other players in program history. Carnae Dillard was named to the All-American team in 2015, while Corina Marginas achieved the feat in 2003.
