Robinson lands on First Team All-C-USA

DENTON – Junior outside hitter Rhett Robinson was named First Team All-Conference USA, the league office announced on Wednesday.
This is Robinson's second career appearance on the first team, as she was also tabbed with the same honor in 2019 as a sophomore. Robinson was also on the 2020-21 C-USA All-Preseason Team.
Robinson, who finished the 2020-21 regular season ranked ninth in the country in kills (337), has had a career year despite the shortened season. The local product finished second in C-USA with a single-season career-high 4.43 kills-per-set. She already ranks 10th in program history in career kills and needs just 19 more to reach 1,000 career kills.
However, Robinson's play has not been limited to the offensive side of the court. On defense, Robinson is second on the team with 73.0 blocks.
Some of her highlights from the 2020-21 season include: a career-high 29 kills at Rice, 20-or-more kills in five C-USA matches and a career-high .636 attack percentage in a win over Louisiana Tech.
