Marshall Game Scheduled for Friday Night at Apogee

DENTON – North Texas will host Marshall on Friday, Oct. 15 in a Conference USA matchup at Apogee Stadium this fall. The game will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network and is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. CT.
The Mean Green and the Thundering Herd are both coming off bowl appearances to close the 2020 season. Marshall was 7-3 last year and played in the Conference USA championship game against UAB. North Texas was 4-6 in 2020 – a year that saw four games canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 issues.
Marshall will come to Denton with a new head coach after hiring Charles Huff to replace Doc Holliday during the offseason. North Texas has five new assistant coaches, led by defensive coordinator Phil Bennett.
The remaining TV schedule is set to be released by Conference USA June 1.
