Mean Green Travel to Charlotte

DENTON, Texas – The North Texas women's basketball team is set to travel to Charlotte on Thursday. The game is slated for 5 p.m. (CT) inside Halton Arena and will broadcast on ESPN+. Zac Babb will also have the call on KNTU 88.1 FM.
The Mean Green come into the game splitting its home stand of Marshall and Western Kentucky last weekend. North Texas will look to contain Co-Preseason C-USA Player of the Year Octavia Jett-Wilson. Jett-Wilson has had a successful season thus far on the offensive end of the floor. She owns the third highest point per game average in the conference (17.9).
UNT still bolsters the one of the best offenses in the conference led by Quincy Noble. Noble is on quite the run offensively; she has registered double figures in all but one game this season. Rebounding has been a key all season long and will continue to be going forward. The Mean Green are a top-20 defensive rebounding squad in the country.
North Texas (7-6, C-USA 1-2) will continue its road trip when they square off with Old Dominion on Saturday at Noon (CT). That game will broadcast on CUSA.TV.
