Soccer Faces FIU In Miami

MIAMI — The North Texas women's soccer team is back on the road Thursday night as they face FIU in Miami.
Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed on CUSA.tv.
With less than a month left in the regular season, UNT (7-5-2, 3-2-1) enters Thursday match aiming to move back into the top three of the league standings. A win over the Panthers (2-6-3, 0-3-3) on Thursday could position them there and put them within striking distance of a top two position.
North Texas features the league's top scoring offense and is the only team in Conference USA averaging over two goals per match for the entire season. Against conference opponents, UNT is only giving up half a goal per match, which is near the best in the league.
All-time versus FIU, North Texas is 19-3-2. They haven't lost to the Panthers since 2011 and last time they played in Miami – 2019 – the Mean Green won 7-0 behind a four-goal performance from then freshman Allie Byrd.
