Swim & Dive Set to Host Little Rock

DENTON - The Mean Green swimmers and divers will return to competition on Friday morning with their first home meet of the season against Little Rock.
The divers will open the dual meet in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events at 10 a.m., in the PEB Natatorium, before the swimmers take the pool at the Pohl Recreation Center at 11 a.m., with 14 events on tap.
Last time out, UNT defeated UIW 160-139 in San Antonio back on Oct. 21, as head coach Brittany Roth moved into second place all-time on the program's career wins list. The Mean Green will be looking for a third straight victory over the Trojans in as many years.
"Our meet this Friday is a great opportunity with Little Rock to be competitive in the morning, an important detail as we prepare for our championship portion of the season," Roth said. "The team has had a strong start to the year, and we are looking forward to continuing our progress as a team as we take on a strong Little Rock team."
